Longarm Clamp Trick

Hanging with Victoria Findlay Wolfe in her Studio getting some pics of her as our new Juki Ambassador.  We got just a few minutes to play on the longarm together.

I found a quilted scrap and quickly made her some clamp extensions.  (Thank You Pat Alderman, Juki Educator) for sharing this idea with us.

Take a quilted scrap cut in into 4 strips at least 2 inches wide by 6 inches long.  I sewed a hem on one end of the strip.  Now pin one end to the edge of your backing and you have clamp extensions.  No more hitting your clamps when you get to the edge of your quilt or while you are basting.
