A new page to hopefully inspire any type of quilting and sewing you love. Remember…Don’t let anything stop you from your next great creation.
This Quilt is called stick and stones. Every piece of fabric in this quilt has a nature theme. The inside border is a pebble print. The outside border is scraps left over from the center that I couldn’t bare to part with.
This quilt is featured in Ricky Tims Kool Kaleidoscope Get a copy and make one for yourself.
Do Your surrounding inspire You? Well, mine always do. While living in Colorado I created some of my most favorite quilts. I guess they are Art Quilts although I always had a hard time considering the fact I could make art. This is why when students say I can’t draw I encourage them to try in fabric. I can’t draw on paper. Fabric Inspires me.
Thread Paining. A little secret to thread Painting. There is a batik panel fused to this Jacket and then I thread painted over the panel. It becomes Paint by number. This a super project for the TL2010. I do also thread paint on both the TL2200QVP-S machine and the TL2200 QVP (Longarm on the Frame).
These small quilts are 12″ Square. I enjoy creating them and also love to try different techniques I might not try on a large quilt. The F600 is great for these, I use decorative stitches and add yarn bindings with a zig zag stitch.
